Take my hand.... And together, let's seek that perfect ghostly tale.
Follow UsWelcome to my blog. You know, when I was first advised to write and maintain a blog by my publicist, it was more as a promotional tool; a way to market my books. However, as I sit here trying to compose all that I would like to share with you, my dear readers, I realise what a wonderful opportunity this blog is.
This is a place where I can be myself, share my passion for the horror genre with like- minded people. Talk about the times when I think I came across things from the other realm. Perhaps like mindedness exists even beyond our living years, our normal lives and encompasses the visitors from beyond the graves. Scary thought isn’t it?
Books have always been my first love. I grew up in awe of, and envious of authors who could create magic through their words. Imagine, just through the culmination of the perfect words, they can invoke in the readers feelings of overwhelming romance, fear or intrigue.
Maybe because of my fascination of ghost stories or tales relating to the paranormal, I have always appreciated the effort it took for the best-selling horror writers to create that ambience, that environment that can make the readers feel scared in the comfort of even their own bedroom.
That is exactly what I have been aspiring to do through my books. Be it the novels or the short stories. I want to take you to an alternate realm. A place that gives you the slight chills, a feeling that makes you glance at those open windows uneasily. And if I can accomplish that, it would be my greatest accolade.
Two of my novels are now available on kindle. The Lying Reflection and Never Ending Nightmares. The flavours of both are so vastly different from each other that sometimes I worry that perhaps I am schizophrenic.
I leave it to you dear readers to make your decision as to which is your favourite. Do write in to me and tell me what you think.
My third book will be a collection of short stories. I am planning to call it Ghost Stories by Pael Khugan. Though it is still a working title. Follow my blog for more updates on that.
Till the next time we meet,
Have a wonderful week.
Warmest Regards
Pael Khugan
